Within the first day it was said that more people died in the earthquake and tsunami in Southern Asia than in New York on 9/11/01. Everyday the death toll rises – 60000 was just reported on the news. You can help in many ways but you will want to make sure that you donate to a relief agency that has been around the block and will use your money and not waste it. Look for an established company. Doing a cut and paste from a piece of company mail here is the start of a good list.
