I finally finished State of Fear by Michael Crichton. I have liked all of his books. I think my favorite is actually one of his non-fiction works; Travels. I noticed that at the bookstores over the holidays that it was being promoted which is a great thing. Thinking about it just motivates me to do more global traveling. Also the fact that he quit medical school to persue a totally different track in life can be inspiring.
State of Fear is a great book that while is a fictional tale has a bunch of great real references that discuss the issue as to how legitiment global warming is. I will not ruin the story for you but it really makes you think. Giving the state of events in the world the ending was very timely. Go to your library and borrow it today or just go to Amazon or Barnes and Nobel and pick up a copy today. You will not be disappointed.
