While I am still frustrated that table support sucks in Spaces I was happy when reading Mike Torres’s blog today that there is some hidden support for using the basic editor to do HTML postings or the ability to pick your font and font point size. I am not sure how often I will use it but just in case you missed it I thought I would like to it here. Take a look at here to learn how to enable extra toolbar buttons in the basic editor.
I also found that there is a good workaround for the lack of spell checking in the Spaces editor. While you cannot use it with the hidden toolbar support, someone has written a spell checking web page that will in the end post to your Space. It is not perfect but it might work for you.
