Saturday M’s vs. Indians

Saturday evening I was off to the M’s game with my friend Lesa.  She is what you would call “good people.”  She is great person to hang out with and you cannot help but just absorb all of the energy she has about her.  She has great insights on many different issues.  She also has a great business and if you are looking for a builder on Queen Anne in Seattle she is your gal.  One thing that I did learn about her however is that she cannot “high-five” with her left hand.  It is right hand or not hand at all.  Sorry Lesa, now the world knows.   I was going to post a picture of Lesa but I never got around to asking her if I could and so she will stay annoymous (although there is a photo of her on the link above if you look hard enough).

We sat in the diamond club seats in the section behind home place.  The food as always was just amazing, even better than I had on Wednesday night.  Here is a copy of the menu in the buffet:
Antipasto Display
Assorted Canapes and Appetizers
Cous Cous Salad w/ Lemon Thyme Vinaigrette
Capri Salad w/ Mozzarella & Balsamic Syrup
Blacken Chicken Caesar Salad
Prime Rib of Beef
Cinnamon & Star Anise Braised Osso Bucco
Grilled Fresh Salmon w/ Pesto Butter
Roman Mashed Potatoes
Ratatouille
Seafood Gnocchi w/ Tomato Couli
Dessert Bar

The game itself was kind of a bummer.  My friend Laura’s good friend CC Sabathia had pitched against the M’s the night before and had gotten the win.  I was happy for him but I never like to see the M’s lose.  Aaron Sele pitched for the M’s and did well.  There was no score in the game going into the seventh inning with the M’s offense not getting anything going.  Sale gave up three runs in the seventh before he was pulled.  We ended up giving up a run in the eight and ninth and only got two back in the bottom of the ninth and lost 2 – 5.  It was kind of a bummer that the roof was closed for the game.  It had been nice in Vancouver but as a drove south it got cloudy and dark.  As we left the game it was raining.
