Today when I was driving to work I noticed that puddles have frozen over or perhaps a better way of saying this was that they were still frozen over (it was after 10 am). I believe winter has finally arrived in Seattle. On the drive into work I heard that Stevens Pass would be opening for night skiing starting this Friday. This is great for people that want to work until 3 or 4 pm and then still get a set of hours in on the slopes.
I would have thought that my blog entry would have ended there but the local news is now claiming that we should get an inch and half of snow by tomorrow morning. The forecasters seem to be about 50% right on this so only the morning will tell. I am sure I could get to work even with this little snow but it might be a great day to "work from home."
