I already had some money down for the Toshiba HD-XA1 HD DVD player having decided to vote early in the Hi-Def DVD wars and not put any money towards Sony and a Blu-ray device. In March of 2005 I wrote that I did not think that Microsoft was really going to "get" HD even though the XBOX 360 was supposed to have all HD games but tonight at CES they announced that there would be a HD DVD add-on device for the XBOX 360 out later this year. No word on price yet or an actual date. I am sure in the next day or so there will be more info but for now it looks like Microsoft still might get HD.
