On Friday the US Treasury Department gave Cuba the OK to participate in the Word Baseball Classic so this means the games are truly on! Right now I plan to be at the Pool B games in Phoenix, AZ, March 7-10. It should be kind of fun as Pool B has the USA, Canada, Mexico, and South Africa. I am going to try and fit in a M’s Spring training game or two.
The M’s have 21 players from different levels of their system playing on teams in the tournament but no one on team USA (but there are many ex-M’s on that team).
