I actually have not read this whole book but I find it a great reference and use it all of the time for BBQ’ing.

 

Last Dance : Behind the Scenes at the Final Four

Author: John Feinstein

Feinstein repeats himself a bit with the stories but it is a great and intersting look at the Final Four including what happend at the finals in 2005.

 

Medstar I: Battle Surgeons (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel)

Author: Michael Reaves and Steve Perry

Cool story about a M.A.S.H unit in the clone wars. Clone parts are grown since every clone is the same.

 

Medstar II: Jedi Healer (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel)

Author: Michael Reaves and Steve Perry

The last book in the series where you get to look at a M.A.S.H. in the Star Wars clone wars.

 

Pearl Jam & Eddie Vedder — None too fragile

Author: Martin Clarke

If you known nothing of PJ or need a quick refresher of the band’s history this book is a quick read. The band was not interviewed & all quotes come from other sources & some "facts" are out of context or wrong. Get the 3rd edition which gets you to 2005.

 

Rob Neyer’s Big Book of Baseball Blunders : A Complete Guide to the Worst Decisions and Stupidest Moments in Baseball History

Interesting read. Pick a year when you want to start to learn about baseball history and start reading the book at that point.

 

Star Wars: Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader

Takes place right after Revenge of the Sith as Vader struggles to embrace the darkside and Jedi go into hiding.

 

Star Wars: Outbound Flight

Author: Timothy Zahn

Taking place between episodes I & II we are introduced to the Chiss, Thrawn, Jedi Master Jorus C’baoth, and references to the Ssi-ruuk.

 

The 5th Horseman

Author: James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

Another in the Women’s Murder Club series with this one dealing with murders in the hostpital.

 

The Bart Book (The Simpsons Library of Wisdom)

Compared to the rest this one was not as funny. I was look for some more insight into Bart but it was not there.

 

The Homer Book (Simpsons Library of Wisdom)

Funny but at the same time seems to have the most errors/conflicts with the actual cartoons, especially with the latest season.

 

The Joiner King (Star Wars: Dark Nest I)

The Star Wars fictional universe did not come to an end with the battles with the Yuuzhan Vong. With support from Dark Jedi the Killiks, an insect race, are a new threat in the Unknown regions.

The Unseen Queen (Star Wars: Dark Nest II)

The battle with the Killiks continues. Han and Liea have become grandparents but they do not know it. Things are also heating up with the Chiss.

 

Triple Zero (Star Wars: Republic Commando)

Follow-up to Hard Contact. This time the clones have to go underground on Coruscant to fight the war.
