Death Star (Star Wars)

A story about those that built or lived on the Death Star including a bar owner, a librarian, an architect, TIE pilot, a guard, and a doctor and how in the end they helped to destory the first Death Star.

 

I Am America (And So Can You!)

A humerous book if you enjoy the Colbert Report.

 

Inferno (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book 6)

Jacen Solo is now hated by all of his relatives and Luke & Ben Skywalker almost kill him. His path to the dark side is almost complete.

 

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)

The last book in the Harry Potter series. It was a good solid book but perhaps a bit long. It did a good job of wrapping up the story.

Allegiance (Star Wars)

Zahn, the first to write SW stories, is back with a story that takes place between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. 5 stromtroopers find themselves as deserters after given orders to kill innocents in the Empire. Paths cross w/ Han, Luke, and Mara Jade

 

Betrayal (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force)

Taking place after the Dark Nest books in this story the Galactic Alliance is at odds with Han’s planetary system of Correllia. Jacen Solo tracks down and joins up with a member of the Sith to in theory bring peace to the galaxy.

An interesting read about people who can read others and how your mind really can hide things from you.

Forth book in series. Jacen Solo plans to kill his parents to complete his journey to the dark side. He sets his nephew Ben Skywalker out on a mission that almost kills him. Luke tries to ferret out an evil Jedi.

Crichton took the science of genetic research and made a great book of fiction or rather a book where fact is mixed with a fictional story.

 

Path of Destruction: A Novel of the Old Republic (Star Wars: Darth Bane)

1000 years before the SW movies the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness vs. the Jedi Army of Light battled. Darth Bane brings back the "Darth" title and eliminates the Brotherhood. "There can be only one Master & and apprentice"

 

Tempest (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force)

Third book in the Legacy of the Force series. Jacen Solo is looking more and more like his grandfather, Darth Vader, in his actions. His parents and Uncle are not really sure how to stop them espically when he turns against them.

Another Women’s Murder Club novel. Three crimes with one being a serial kidnapper need to be solved. Good stuff.
