I try to add a little culture in my life by buying a subscription to the Broadway at the Paramount theatre series which brings musicals that have palyed on Broadway in New York City to little old Seattle. This is something I have done for many years now. Last Friday they announced most of what will be coming in 2005. It seems like every year there is one change after the announcement and for the next season they still will be announcing one more show. Additionally Mamma Mia! (12/6-18/05) will be coming back for a return engagement.
Annie 8/21-27/05. The sun will come up tomorrow and as Jay-Z would say it’s a hard knock life!
Little Women — The musical. 11/1-6/05. We get Maureen McGovern direct from Broadway. She is promoted as a stage, concert, and recording star personally I am not sure I remember her 1973 hit "The Morning After" from the Poseidon Adventure.
Joseph and the Amazing Technocolor Dreamcoat. 3/28-4/2/06. Patrick Cassidy & Amy Adams come to down. Patrick is the son of Shirley Jones & Jack Cassidy and the brother of David and Shawn (man I miss the Partridge Family). Amy Adams was on American Idol or so I read — I do not watch that show.
Wicked. 9/20-10/1/06. The untold story of the witches of the land of Oz. It won three Tony awards.
